Kia Sportage price range in Costa Rica
The reported range runs from ₡12,900 to ₡13,294,000 as of September 25, 2026. This wide spread usually reflects big differences between older and newer model years, mechanical condition, or occasionally listing errors from individual sellers, so it is always worth confirming the final price directly with the dealer before deciding.
If you are comparing several units, check the model year, engine size, whether it is 4x2 or 4x4, and the reported mileage. These factors explain most of the price difference between units within the same overall range.

What to check before buying a used Kia Sportage
Before closing a deal, ask for the vehicle's maintenance history, confirm it has no outstanding liens with Costa Rica's Registro Nacional, and take it to a trusted independent mechanic for inspection. On units with more than 100,000 kilometers, pay close attention to the transmission and suspension, which tend to need more upkeep at that mileage range.
It also helps to compare several units of the same year before deciding, since price can vary quite a bit based on overall condition and whether the vehicle had private or fleet use.
